Fees for inter-county players

Over the course of the tour weekend, all players entered for the event will be drawn into one of 32 groups, group matches to be played over 4 sessions (8 groups in each session). At the 1st Event, each group will contain 1 of the top 32 Seeds from the end of Season rankings.


When will the draw be made?

The draw will take place as usual 1 week before each event, so players will still need to enter their names with any committee member or by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by the previous Saturday. Each player will be drawn into one of 4 time slots.

When will the group matches take place?

The sessions will be played at these times:

1. Friday Evening from 8.00pm

2. Saturday Morning

3. Saturday Afternoon

4. Saturday Evening

(For example, players drawn on Friday evening will need to be there from 7.30pm to pay their entry fee, as the draw to place people into their groups will take place at 7.45 , with matches starting at 8pm).


How many matches will I play?

Each player will play every other player in their group, either 3 or 4 matches, all group matches are first to 4.

- Top 2 in each group go through to last 64 of Main Event.

- 3rd and 4th in each group go through to the last 64 of Plate event.

Last 64 of both events is then straight knockout.

- Open Draw as last season for each round from Last 32 in Main Event.
- Open Draw as last season for each round from last 16 in Plate Event.

How much will it cost to play?

The entry fee for 2014/2015 remains at €40

Anyone who wishes to enter for the season can pay €200 at the 1st event and play in 6 events for the price of 5.  

NOTE: For the Inter-Counties, there is no charge to anyone who plays in 4 of the 7 events (including the Irish Championships), as long as their County Affiliation is paid. All other players will be charged  €10 Registration Fee to play in the Inter-Counties.
